Features

  • [Screenshot] Added multiple screenshot modes. After entering screenshot mode, use the default Ctrl (Control) + Tab shortcut to switch between standard, freeform, polygon, and multi-window screenshots.
Multiple Screenshot Modes

Multiple screenshot modes let you add or remove capture areas during one capture and merge all selected areas into a single image.

After defining any capture area, click the plus or minus button in the upper-left corner to add or remove an area.

Freeform Screenshot

Draw a closed capture area by tracing the mouse path. Hold the left mouse button and release it to confirm the selection.

Polygon Screenshot

Click to place each point. After placing at least three points, right-click to confirm the capture area. If fewer than three points have been placed, right-clicking cancels the existing points.

Multi-window Screenshot

Select and capture multiple windows at the same time.

Why are there transparent areas?

Image files are saved on a rectangular canvas. With freeform or polygon screenshots, or when merging separate capture areas, parts outside the selected areas remain transparent. Different applications may display transparent areas as a checkerboard, white, or black background; this does not affect the captured content.

Multiple screenshot modes demo

  • [Screenshot] Added an Edit button to the standard screenshot toolbar. It is hidden by default and can be moved to the top-level menu manually.
