PixPin 3.3 stable mainly improves common workflows such as screenshots, pinned images, text recognition, and shortcuts. It also enhances the experience of member features such as table recognition, translation, and formula recognition, making everyday screenshot capture, organization, recognition, and output smoother.

Features

  • [Shortcut/Actions] Added support for a global exclusion list. All hotkeys are disabled while specified processes are active.
  • [Floating Ball] The floating ball's right-click menu now lets you specify the applications in which it should be hidden.
  • [Pin] In thumbnail mode, you can now scroll vertically with Shift + Scroll Wheel.
  • [macOS] Screenshots and pinned images now support AirDrop.
Member Features
  • [Translation] You can now edit the source text in the translation window and translate it again, as well as specify the source language.
  • [Table Recognition] Added support for previewing, editing, copying to Excel, printing, and AirDrop on macOS.
  • [Formula Recognition] Spaces are now removed automatically, making recognition results easier to use.

Settings

  • [Appearance] Added a toolbar icon size setting under Config - Appearance - Toolbar Icon Size.

Improvements

  • [Text Recognition] Upgraded to a redesigned window where recognition results can be edited directly. The window now closes automatically after a direct copy, but remains open when selected text is copied. Recognition speed and overall responsiveness have also been improved.
  • [Shortcut/Actions] Disabling shortcuts now also disables Global Mouse.
  • [Pin] When a display is disconnected, pinned images on that display are now automatically moved to another display.
  • [Screenshot] Added an animation when switching the screenshot selection area. It can be disabled under Config - Appearance.
  • [Color Picker] The color picker now remembers the last selected color format.
  • [Pin] The "Pin Currently Selected File" action now supports Q-Dir.
