Annotate
PixPin has a built-in set of annotation tools that can help you perform geometric, arrow, polyline, and other annotations on images. The annotation tools support undo, redo, clear, and other operations to help you better annotate images.
Undo / Redo
There are undo and redo buttons on the annotation toolbar, which can help you undo or redo the previous operation. Undo and redo operations can be performed multiple times. You can also operate via shortcuts (Undo: Ctrl + Z, Redo: Ctrl + Y).
Color
The color of the annotation can be selected through the color palette on the annotation toolbar. PixPin presets several common colors. You can also click the largest color block to open the color picker for custom colors.
TIP
Hold down Ctrl + Mouse Wheel to adjust the transparency of the color.
TIP
Except for the highlighter, the color settings of other annotation tools are synchronized. For example, if you choose red when drawing an arrow, it will also be red when drawing a rectangle. You can modify this setting in "Config" - "Annotate" - "Use same color for all tools".
Brush Size
Most annotation tools (geometric shapes, polylines, arrows, pencils, highlighters) have brush size settings. You can use the mouse wheel to adjust the brush size.
Re-adjust Annotation
Except for the pencil and eraser, all annotation tools can be re-adjusted, but you need to switch the toolbar to the corresponding annotation tool. For example, if you drew an arrow and then a rectangle, and now want to re-adjust the arrow position, you can switch the toolbar to the arrow tool, then click the arrow to re-adjust its position. If you do not need re-adjustment, you can modify the configuration in "Config" - "Annotate" - "Re-edit Annotation".
Delete Annotation
When an annotation is selected, you can delete it by pressing the Delete key.
