PixPin 3.5.0.8 adds animated GIF and WebP playback for pins, rule-of-thirds grid guides, pin alignment options, and several annotation settings. It also improves recognition, translation, saving, and exporting, and fixes issues with pins, formula recognition, Global Mouse on macOS, and more.

  • [Annotation] Serial Number annotations now support a custom foreground color for their numbers and borders. A "Serial foreground color" setting has been added under "Config" - "Annotation."

Improvements ​

  • [Table Recognition] The save dialog now remembers the last folder used for recognition results.
  • [Annotation] Improved line wrapping for Serial Number annotation text.
  • [Annotation] Action buttons around a Serial Number annotation now maintain minimum spacing when the annotation is scaled down.
  • [Save] Added information about Windows filename restrictions to the variable reference.
  • [Auto Save] Added an alert when saving fails.
  • [Text Recognition/Formula Recognition/Table Recognition] Recognition windows now remember the last selected always-on-top state.
  • [UI Detection] On the desktop, UI Detection now checks only the screen containing the pointer by default.
  • [Edit] Images are no longer smoothed when scaled.
  • [Save] Improved the default position of the classic save dialog.
  • [Annotation] Improved the display logic for buttons such as "Rounded" while annotating.
  • [Floating Ball] Improved the appearance of the floating ball when it is positioned at the boundary between two displays.
  • [Export] When hardware acceleration is enabled, MP4 export can now use the GPU.
  • [Recording] Improved performance when the pointer passes over the camera button.

  • [Global Mouse] Fixed incorrect Global Mouse trigger behavior on macOS.
  • [Pin] Fixed an issue where a pin that had been unpinned from the top could become topmost again after being restored from a hidden state.
  • [Pin] Fixed an issue where the pin shortcut stopped working after PixPin failed to capture certain PixPin windows.
