PixPin 3.6.0.9 adds support for multiple window pins, scrolling screenshots across displays, downloading text-to-speech audio files, and writing EXIF metadata to images. It enhances Text Recognition, Table Recognition, and annotation controls, improves editing and pin workflows, and fixes issues with screenshot history, delayed screenshots, macOS compatibility, and several parts of the UI.

Features ​

  • [Window Pin] Multiple window pins can now be displayed at the same time.
  • [Text Pin] HTML text pins now support a width limit, which defaults to 800. Adjust this value if it affects how the pin is displayed.
  • [Text Recognition] Text-to-speech audio files can now be downloaded.
  • [Text Recognition] Added a font size selector to the recognition window.
  • [Text Recognition] Images can now be copied from the recognition window.
  • [Auto Mosaic] Selection areas can now be adjusted manually.
  • [Save/Copy] EXIF metadata can now be written when copying or saving images. This can be configured under "Config" - "Save" - "Write EXIF metadata when copying or saving."
  • [Edit] When cropping an image, you can now drag outside the image to pan the view.
  • [Table Recognition] Press Backspace to delete selected cells. With a column or row header selected, press Ctrl + - (minus) to delete the entire row or column, including its cells. Press Ctrl + Z to undo.
  • [Scrolling Screenshot] Scrolling screenshots can now span multiple displays.
  • [Shortcuts] Added a "Copy mouse coordinates" built-in shortcut, which copies the coordinates shown in the magnifier. The default shortcut is Alt + C, and both global and relative coordinate modes are supported. This can be configured under "Config" - "Built-in Shortcut" - "Screenshot and Pin."
  • [Annotation] Added an outline option for Watermark annotations.
  • [Annotation] Serial Number annotations now support shortcuts for quickly changing the number. Press Z to increase it and X to decrease it.
  • [Annotation] Press Tab to switch between Ellipse and Rectangle annotations.

Settings ​

  • [Network Proxy] Added a "Use system proxy" option.
  • [Pin] When double-clicking text in a pin, you can now choose between "Single line" and "Paragraph" selection modes. Switch to "Single line" if double-clicking selects more text than intended.
  • [Screenshot] Increased the maximum corner radius to 100.
  • [Table Recognition] Added an "Automatically close the original pin after table recognition" option to the recognition window.
  • [Quick Recording] Added a default save location setting under "Config" - "Save" - "Quick Recording." It is disabled by default.
  • [Annotation] Added a default brush mode setting for the Highlighter under "Config" - "Annotation" - "Highlighter." Use Shift + Left Click to switch modes.

  • [Window Pin] Improved display quality. The original window is now hidden after it is pinned.
  • [Screenshot] Improved the display of custom screenshot windows.
  • [Edit] Cropping an image now preserves its original zoom level.
  • [Text Recognition] Improved punctuation conversion in the formatting settings.
  • [Text Recognition/Table Recognition] Improved image positioning in recognition windows.
  • [Annotation] Improved the behavior of Text and Serial Number annotations after rotating a pin.
  • [Pin] Added shortcut labels to more context menu items.
  • [Pin] When switching to thumbnail mode with Shift + Left Double Click or R, PixPin now prefers the size set by cropping through the context menu.
  • [Text Recognition] When "Copy text directly next time" is enabled, the copied text now uses the selected formatting settings.

  • [Screenshot History] Fixed an issue where screenshots were displayed in the wrong order.
  • [Screenshot] Fixed an issue where delayed screenshots failed when Task Manager was active.
  • [Annotation] Fixed incorrect colors in some Serial Number annotation styles.
  • [Compatibility] Fixed an issue where PixPin could not launch on macOS 13 or earlier.
  • [Pin] Fixed stuttering when moving a pin between displays for the first time.
  • [Config] Fixed an issue where repeatedly clicking the same settings entry opened multiple windows.
  • [Screenshot] Fixed incorrect UI detection in some cases.
  • [Pin] At startup, pins larger than the screen now have their window size limited to the screen dimensions. Pins that fit within the screen continue to display at their original size. This prevents repeated crashes on some less powerful devices.
  • [Pin] Fixed an issue where confirmation dialogs for closing or destroying pins from the context menu did not follow the settings on the configuration page.
