3.5.1.0

Features

  • [Screenshot] Added multiple screenshot modes. You can switch among Rectangle Screenshot, Polygon Screenshot, Free Screenshot, and Multi-window Screenshot. After pressing the screenshot shortcut, press Ctrl + Tab to switch modes. Hold Ctrl and press Tab repeatedly to continue cycling through them.
  • [Screenshot] Free Screenshot lets you draw a closed capture area by tracing the pointer's path.
  • [Screenshot] In Polygon Screenshot, click to place each point. After placing at least three points, right-click to confirm the capture area. If fewer than three points have been placed, right-clicking cancels the existing points.
  • [Screenshot] Multi-window Screenshot lets you capture multiple selected windows at once.
  • [Screenshot] In any of these screenshot modes, click the plus or minus button in the upper-left corner to add or remove capture areas. PixPin merges all capture areas and saves them as a single image.
  • [Table Recognition] The recognition window's context menu now supports merging and splitting cells, as well as deleting rows and columns.
  • [Text Recognition] Added a "Highlight Selected Text" option to the recognition window. When enabled, selecting text highlights the corresponding text in the image. This option is disabled by default.
  • [Text Recognition] Added a "Copy Text on Close" option to the recognition window. This option is disabled by default.

Settings

  • [Scrolling Screenshot] Added a "Respond to shortcuts" setting under "Config" - "Screenshot" - "Scrolling Screenshot." When enabled, you cannot scroll with the middle mouse wheel during a scrolling screenshot.
  • [Polygon Screenshot] Added a "Polygon corner radius" setting under "Config" - "Screenshot" - "Polygon screenshot" to adjust the corner radius.
  • [Scrolling Screenshot] Added support for shadows and borders, using the corresponding standard screenshot settings.
  • [Scrolling Screenshot] The border color now matches the border color used for standard screenshots.
  • [Annotation] The maximum "Blur" intensity is now 50.
  • [Shortcuts] Shortcut input now supports Ctrl + ScrLk and Ctrl + PauseBreak.

Improvements

  • [Pin] When only "Thumbnail Mode" is enabled, the context menu now also shows "Copy Original Image" and "Original Image Save As..."
  • [Table Recognition] Recognition result files now open with the system's default application.
  • [Translation] Pins are no longer displayed when using a Clipboard translation preset.
  • [Annotation] After drawing an arrow, the comment input box now automatically receives focus.

Fixes

  • [Tip] Fixed an issue where "Tip" messages did not remain visible.
  • [Export] Fixed an issue where the interface could not be reopened after minimizing the window during video export.
  • [Annotation] Fixed an issue where Serial Number annotations were displayed incorrectly in multi-display setups on macOS.
