PixPin 3.6.5.1 introduces Document Recognition, which converts images into documents and exports them as PDF, Markdown, Word, or LaTeX. It redesigns the Text Recognition, Formula Recognition, Table Recognition, and Translation dialogs, adds CSV and TIFF support, improves annotation, pin, and screenshot workflows, and fixes issues with recording, sign-in, and menu display.

Features ​

  • [Document Recognition] Added Document Recognition, which converts images into documents and supports export to PDF, Markdown, Word, and LaTeX. The shortcut is Shift + E.
  • [Table Recognition] Added CSV as a save format.
  • [Formula Recognition] Added support for adjusting the font size.
  • [Global Mouse] Added a Formula Recognition action.
  • [Annotation] Added a wavy line style for Polyline annotations.
  • [Annotation] Text annotations now support languages written from right to left, such as Persian and Arabic.
  • [Tray Menu] Added a "Move to group" option.

Settings ​

  • [Annotation] Added a "Remember toolbar tool selection" option under "Config" - "Annotation." It is disabled by default. When disabled, a tool selected from an annotation tool's submenu remains in that submenu the next time you start annotating.
  • [Pin] Added an "Adjust pins to keep them visible" option under "Config" - "Pin."
  • [Window Pin] Added a "Hide original window" option. The original window is now kept visible by default. Pinned browser windows can now refresh correctly even when covered by other windows.
  • [Element Detection] Padding now accepts negative values, down to -50.
  • [Screenshot] Added an "Exit screenshot" option for "Left double-click action" and "Middle-click action" under "Config" - "Screenshot."
  • [Save/Copy] Renamed "Image quality when saving" to "Image quality when saving or copying."

Improvements ​

  • [Text Recognition/Formula Recognition/Table Recognition/Translation] Redesigned the dialogs.
  • [Pin] Holding Ctrl and left-clicking another pin now also selects the pin that previously had focus.
  • [Screenshot] Shortcut hints in the screenshot interface now automatically move out of the pointer's way.
  • [Annotation] Watermark annotations now always stay on top of other annotations so that Mosaic and Eraser tools do not affect them.
  • [Scrolling Screenshot] Adjusted the built-in shortcuts.

Fixes ​

  • [Pin] Fixed an issue where some context menu options extended beyond the screen in certain cases.
  • [Recording] Fixed a memory leak during standard recording.
  • [Quick Recording] Fixed an issue where a recording recovery prompt still appeared after restarting the computer, even after the recording had been exported successfully.
  • [Shortcuts] Fixed an issue where triggering a shortcut containing CapsLock toggled the input method's letter case.
  • [Floating Icon] Fixed an issue where "Hide during screenshot" did not work on macOS.
  • [Screenshot] Fixed display issues with the preset list in custom screenshot management on macOS.
  • [Account] Fixed an issue where some devices were signed out automatically.
