Pin
The Pin feature is one of the core functions of PixPin. You can press Ctrl + 2 to pin the content of the clipboard, such as images, text, files, colors, LaTeX formulas, etc., to the screen, making it convenient for users to refer to them at any time.
Pin Window Operations
Current Image / Original Image
In the right-click menu of the Pin window, the concepts of "Current Image" and "Original Image" will appear. "Current Image" refers to the scaled image. For example, if the pinned image is originally 500x500, but it is scaled to 100x100 in the Pin window, "Current Image" refers to the scaled 100x100 image, while "Original Image" refers to the original image of the pin, i.e., the 500x500 image.
If the pin has not been scaled, the right-click menu will only show "Current Image" and not "Original Image".
TIP
If the pin is in thumbnail mode, the current image represents the part shown in the thumbnail; If the pin is of image type, the current image also includes the image after processing, such as rotation, flipping, etc.;
Plain Text / HTML
Sometimes the clipboard contains text or HTML code, or both, and even image content may be accompanied by text or HTML code. You can copy the text or HTML code to the clipboard via the right-click menu.
Move
In the Pin window, you can move the position of the pin by dragging the Pin window with the mouse, or fine-tune the position of the pin using the arrow keys.
Zoom / Opacity
In the Pin window, you can zoom the pin size using the mouse wheel, or adjust the opacity of the pin using Ctrl + Mouse Wheel. Clicking the Pin window with the middle mouse button can set the pin to its original size and opacity. Clicking the middle button again can restore it to the last zoom and opacity.
Lock
Press L in the Pin window or select "Lock" in the right-click menu to lock the pin. After locking, the pin cannot be moved, zoomed, or have its opacity adjusted. You can choose to lock the pin after adjusting its position and opacity to avoid accidental changes.
Annotate
Press the Space key in the Pin window or select from the right-click menu to call out the annotation toolbar, allowing you to perform annotation operations on the pin. If you want to temporarily hide the annotations, you can also choose "Hide Annotation" from the right-click menu.
Shadow
By default, there is a shadow around the Pin window to identify the size and position of the pin. The shadow has different colors in different states:
- Blue shadow indicates the pin is active and can be moved, zoomed, etc.
- Gray shadow indicates the pin is inactive.
- Orange shadow indicates the pin is locked and cannot be moved, zoomed, etc.
- Green shadow indicates the pin is in mouse penetration state. In this state, the mouse can penetrate the Pin window and operate the content under it. If you want to turn off the shadow, you can choose "Close Shadow" in the right-click menu, which will close the shadow of the current pin, or turn off the shadow in "Config" - "Pin", which will turn off the shadow for newly created pins.

- Color Pin: Drags the HEX code of the color.
- LaTeX Formula Pin: Drags the rendered formula image.

Therefore, you need to release the Ctrl key before dragging to the WeChat window, and then drag the content to the input box.

You need to set a shortcut for "Toggle Mouse Penetration" in "Config" - "Shortcuts/Actions", and then press the shortcut in the Pin window to enable mouse penetration. When you need to turn off mouse penetration, move the mouse over the Pin window and press the shortcut again to turn it off.

Shift+ left button to drag the thumbnail content without changing the thumbnail position.

Set the shortcut for "Toggle Mouse Penetration" in "Config" - "Shortcuts/Actions", then move the mouse over the Pin window and press the shortcut to enable mouse penetration. When you need to turn off mouse penetration, press the shortcut again to turn it off.
