Usage
After taking a screenshot, click the magnifier button in the secondary area of the toolbar.
Select the magnification mode: Smooth / Pixel.
Select the drawing tool:
- Rectangle Mode (Left): Quickly select a rectangular area.
- Ellipse Mode (Right): Quickly select an elliptical area.
Dragging the image with the mouse can choose to drag the source area or the magnified image.
- Drag Source Area: The area inside the dashed box. The source area and the magnified image move synchronously.
- Drag Magnified Image: The area outside the dashed box but inside the magnified image. Only the magnified image moves. When the magnified image and the source area do not overlap, there is a connecting line linking the source area and the magnified image.
Select the style of the connecting line:
- Line Segment: A line segment shoots out from the center of the source area and connects to the border of the magnified image.
- Dotted Line: A line segment shoots out from the center point of the source area and connects to the border of the magnified image.
- Box Line: A line segment connects the border of the magnified image and the border of the source area.
- No Line: Do not display the connecting line.
Select the magnification factor of the magnified image: The magnification factor of the image is represented by a slider from 1.0 to 8.0. It can also be adjusted with the mouse wheel. When the mouse wheel is adjusted inside the source area or the magnified image, the magnification factor is changed. If the mouse wheel is adjusted outside the image, the thickness of the border is adjusted.
Select the color of the magnifier: The color of the magnifier is actually the color of the magnifier border and the connecting line, because the magnifier itself should be transparent. 😁
Select Show Annotations, Magnifier Shadow
- Select Show Annotations: Select or deselect the Show Annotations button to control whether the magnifier displays annotation icons in the layer below the magnifier. It is worth noting that icons in the layer above the magnifier cannot be removed by the magnifier. 😯

- Magnifier Shadow: Select or deselect Show Magnifier Shadow to control the display of shadows in the magnified image of the magnifier, making the magnifier more three-dimensional and giving it a wonderful feeling. It is also worth noting that this is a member feature. 😊
