Refreshed interface
We've completely refactored the UI. The new design language and more modern and refreshing visual style allow you to have the ultimate visual experience while working efficiently.
Support customizing selection border width and color, configure-appearance-screenshot. (If you need to restore the old version of border blue, the color value code is #3388ff)
If all annotation buttons are hidden or not displayed, you can reopen the adjustment interface: Configuration-annotation-annotation button adjustment.
More powerful text recognition (OCR)
The newly upgraded text recognition (OCR) algorithm improves the recognition accuracy and can recognize Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese at the same time.
More powerful image saving
The newly designed saving interface adds support for AVIF and PDF formats, estimates the saved file size, and members can preview the encoding effect.
You can switch back to the old save interface style at any time, configure-appearance-appearance-save dialog box style.
AI translation
We have officially connected to the large AI model, and our translation level has greatly improved. Not only does it support automatic translation between multiple languages, it can also provide more accurate and natural translation results based on the context, making reading foreign language materials smooth from now on.
You can switch back to the old translation mode (picture to picture) at any time by going to Configuration - System - Translation - Translation Mode.
Desktop floating icon
Click the floating icon on the desktop to trigger shortcut operations. You can also drag images or text directly onto the icon to complete pin, and the entire process can be operated with the mouse.
If you want to reopen the floating icon after closing it, go to Configuration-System-System-Desktop Toolbar Display.

Troubleshooting common problems in 3.0 version upgrade
If you encounter obstacles when upgrading to experience the 3.0 version for the first time, please refer to the following hot questions first:
1. Windows 7 What should I do if I get an error message about missing DLL when installing or running?
Due to underlying differences, some old Win7 systems may encounter missing dependency library errors when running the new version:
- When the dll file is missing, please screenshot the corresponding error window and send it to the email address [email protected]. A supplementary package corresponding to the missing files will be sent to you here. After receiving the compressed package, unzip it and use Ctrl+F in the supplemental package to quickly search for the corresponding missing files according to the pop-up error message, and move them to the PixPin directory folder. If the error still pops up, please restart the computer and try again, because other software may also occupy the related dll files.
- Error or prompt
ADVAPI32.dllcannot be located: This usually means that the DLL itself exists, but the version is too old and lacks the function entry required by the new version. You can try to manually install Microsoft official repair patch package.
2. macOS 12 / 13 Why does it not respond or crash when opening?
Since macOS 12 and 13 lack some underlying support architecture required by the large version of 3.0, it will result in inability to run or serious exceptions. If it is inconvenient to upgrade your computer to a higher version of the system, please go to the historical version page to continue experiencing the classic 2.4.9.6 version.
3. After upgrading, do you feel that the operation of pin occasionally freezes?
Most of this is because the new version has newly added the underlying global OCR automatic parsing and word delineation module. If your device configuration is limited and you encounter occasional lags, you can uncheck the "Default text is selectable" option in "Configuration" - "pin" to relieve performance pressure.
4. Can't find the "serial numbers increase and decrease button" in the annotation function?
The new version removes the global increase and decrease buttons to simplify the toolbar. First click the image to create a serial number, then click the + or - symbol at its upper-left corner to change its value.
5. How to completely turn off automatic saving in screenshot?
If you do not want the local hard disk to generate an original file every time you perform a full disk screenshot, you can uncheck this option in "Configuration" - "Save" - "Auto Save".
