Translate text in screenshots or pins into the language you need. The original and translation appear together for comparison. Image translation places the translated text back in its original position.

Select an area containing text while taking a screenshot, then click “Translate” on the toolbar or press Ctrl+Q⌥ Option+Q to open the PixPin Translation window. The source language is detected automatically by default. Use the controls at the top to change languages and show text only, images only, or both. You can also right-click a pin and choose “Translate,” or select the pin and press the same shortcut.

Turn document photos, screenshots, or scans into editable documents while preserving paragraphs, tables, and formulas. Export them as Word, PDF, LaTeX, or Markdown.

After taking a screenshot or selecting a pin, press Shift+E⇧ Shift+E. Once recognition finishes, a document preview appears on the right. Click “Copy Markdown,” or click “Export” to choose a file format.

Recognize tables in images and restore their rows and columns. Copy them straight into a spreadsheet or export an Excel file. This is useful for photos of printed tables and tables that cannot be copied from websites or PDFs.

After taking a screenshot or selecting a pin, press Shift+Q⇧ Shift+Q to open PixPin Table Recognition. Double-click a cell to edit it; you can also merge cells and sort data. When finished, click “Copy table” or “Save,” or open it directly in Excel.

Recognize mathematical formulas in images, including multiline and complex formulas, and convert them to LaTeX. Copy the result into a LaTeX editor or a document that supports formulas.

After taking a screenshot or selecting a pin, press Shift+F⇧ Shift+F. Edit the recognized formula directly in “LaTeX source”; the preview updates as you edit. You can also copy it as MathML, a Word document, Typst, and other formats.

Remove unwanted footage from the beginning and end of a screen recording without opening a separate video editor.

In the recording playback window, drag the handles at either end of the timeline to set the start and end points. Preview the selected clip, choose MP4, GIF, or WebP, then click “Save” or “Copy.” Only the part between the handles is kept.

If you scroll too far during a long screenshot, you do not need to start over. Scroll back, and PixPin automatically crops away the extra content.

Select “Auto crop” in the crop panel while taking a long screenshot. Changing the scroll direction then crops away the extra content.

Erase unwanted objects and sensitive information from images, and automatically fill the background using the surrounding content. The result looks more natural than a mosaic.

While taking a screenshot or annotating a pin, select the Mosaic tool, choose “Smart erase” from the modes below the toolbar, and paint over what you want to remove. When you release the mouse button, PixPin fills in the erased area automatically.
