1.8.16 mainly improves the convenience of some operations and fixes some problems mentioned by users. In addition, member users can synchronize settings to the cloud. Thank you for your suggestions and feedback.

Features/settings

  • [Function] Add a quick save button to the recording toolbar of long screenshot/GIF

long screenshot/When recording animations, the operation focus is on the target software. PixPin cannot respond to the quick save shortcut. Therefore, a quick save button is added to the toolbar. Click to save quickly.

Click quick save on the PixPin toolbar while the target window keeps focus.
  • [Function] Edit screenshot area/customize screenshot, add width and height swap button
Set size, position, and delay in the custom screenshot window.
  • [Settings] annotation-[Rectangle/Ellipse]-Graphic control point display (rectangular rounded corners/elliptical arc sector control points)
  • [built-in shortcuts] screenshot/pin translation shortcut: Ctrl + Q (need to set up translation API or open a membership)

Pressing Translate shortcut in the screenshot state will translate pin. Pressing Translate shortcut in the pin state will translate the current pin.

  • [built-in shortcuts] Simulate mouse wheel (it is inconvenient to use the wheel to adjust the brush size in a notebook scenario, you can use shortcut instead): [-_], [=+]
Windows settings excerpt; the sidebar and other actions are omitted. Clear keys inside the field; the red cross at the row's end deletes the action. macOS has no full-screen game option at the bottom.

Bug fixes

  • [Fix] Custom actions are displayed as garbled characters in the tray menu
  • [Fix] Text selection mode will trigger the input method
  • [Fix] HTMLpin, the color of the text is incorrect after ignoring the format
  • [Fix] Unable to respond to the middle mouse button in some cases
  • [Fix] When the fillet diameter is equal to 0, continue to decrease, and selection will increase incorrectly.
  • [Fix] After recording the GIF function and setting the frame rate, the software will revert to the default 24 frame when reopened.

  • [Fix] The option "Copy image to text format" in settings is wrong (BMP format is displayed as JPG)
